We had a brilliant day today thanks to Zoe at Science Made Simple! We saw balloons dipped into liquid nitrogen and learnt why cryogenics needs more research….. We learnt about aerofoils…. We ultrasound scanned each other’s carotid arteries…. Excellent fun and we enjoyed every minute!

On April 3rd we held our very own Oscars ceremony, to acknowledge just how fabulous our home educated children are and to celebrate their achievements.
Home educated children don’t usually get the chance to attend prize givings, speech days and award ceremonies. Our Oscars afternoon was about acknowledging that not only do parents think their children are special, but BHE does too. Each child attending received a personalised certificate and a small prize to acknowledge that BHE values them and their unique contribution to the group.
